Discovering Her Voice
Jordyn Zimmerman, M.Ed. '21 (Extensive Support Needs), may be nonspeaking, but that hasn鈥檛 stopped her from becoming a powerhouse advocate for disability rights. Her advocacy has led her to be featured on CBS Mornings, as the subject of a 2021 documentary (This Is Not About Me), and landed her an appointment to President Biden's Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities in 2022.聽
